Knowledge is Power

Our cafe is operated during class time, so the menu and service are dependent on the course offerings. This quarter, the cafe kitchen will be run by the Garde Manger and Classic Cuisine classes, led by Chef Tad Delay, with contributions from Chef Strand's Cakes Class and Chef Wirkerman's Yeast Breads class.  The entire front of house service is provided by the Customer Service class led by Chef Jennifer Ryan.

The menu and style of service change weekly, and is based on the course curriculum.

For the weeks of 10/28 - 11/18, our menu will feature soups, salad & sandwiches, cured & smoked meats, tapas and pâté.  

Our cafe is open to the public and we heartily invite you to share in this revered educational experience.

We are open eight Thursdays a semester, 11am - 12:30pm, for dine-in or carry-out service.  Our cafe seats 40, with the option for outdoor seating under our umbrellas. Reservations are required - the last seating is at 12pm, the last take out order is at 12:15.
